Book a 20-Minute Intro Call
Tell me about your business, what you do, roughly how the business is doing and what is currently becoming difficult or taking up too much of your time.
I will ask a few questions so I can understand what you need. There is nothing you need to prepare and you do not need to send me any documents for the first call.
By the end of the conversation, we should both have a good idea of whether VAccounts is the right fit for you and your business. If I do not think I am the right accountant for you, I will tell you.
The right level of support
If we are a good fit, I will recommend the level of support that makes sense for your business.
I will look at things such as your transaction volume, business structure, records and the accounting support you actually need.
You will not be pushed into services that are not relevant to your business.
VAccounts starts with Core support from £130 per month, with additional services available when your business needs them.
A clear proposal in writing
You will receive a straightforward proposal showing:
• Your monthly fee
• What is included
• Any catch up or additional work needed
• The cost of additional services
• Anything that is optional
We will agree the scope and pricing before additional work starts.
I want you to know exactly what you are paying for and what you can expect from me.
Getting set up
Once you decide to go ahead, I will guide you through the onboarding process.
This may include:
• HMRC agent authorisation
• Accounting software setup or connection
• Identity and AML checks
• Obtaining records and information from your previous accountant, where relevant
• Setting up the appropriate accounting and compliance arrangements
I will handle as much of the process as I can and tell you clearly what I need from you.
The time needed to complete the setup will depend on your circumstances and how quickly the required information and authorisations are provided.
Then we work together
This is where the relationship really begins.
Your accounting work is handled within the agreed scope. Your important deadlines are monitored and you have someone you can contact when an accounting question comes up or something changes in your business.
You will hear from me during the year, not just when something is due.
If your business changes, we can also review whether your current level of support still makes sense.
Your accountant beyond the year end.
That is completely fine. Many VAccounts clients come to me because they have outgrown the level of support they are getting.
Changing accountants does not have to be complicated.
I handle the switch with you. I will guide the process and communicate with your previous accountant where appropriate.
You do not start again. Your existing records and accounting history can be transferred as part of the handover.
You do not always have to wait until year end. We can discuss the timing that makes most sense for your business.
I will explain what needs to happen, what I need from you and take care of the rest.
